Job Description

Role Overview
A Mechanical Engineer in the construction phase of a Chlorine processing project would be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing the mechanical systems within the facility. This includes tasks like developing detailed designs for equipment and piping, managing construction schedules and ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.

Job Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in the design and construction of industrial facilities particularly those involving chemical processing
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards eg ASME, API
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in relevant engineering software eg (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with safety procedures and regulations related to hazardous materials
